The cottage layout is spacious with well proportioned rooms and can sleep upto 6 people.
Deer and the occasional wily fox venture from the glen in the quiet early morning while cattle and ponies graze the hill. Children will love it here.
Home produce ranging from free-range eggs to grass-fed lamb and wonderful Gloucester Old Spot pork is readily available most of the year.
Also during the summer months, fruit and vegetables from the extensive Victorian greenhouse and walled garden can be purchased as available.
We ask that if guests wish to smoke, that they do so outside the house. All linen and towels provided and included in rental. Electricity and central heating included.
Owners Libby and George Elles have converted part of their old stonebuilt farm steading to make a comfortable self catering studio perfect for a couple who would like to stay in a quiet rural holiday retreat.
The king-sized double bed, dining and sitting areas are in one large studio room with skylights and windows which look out to the trees around the Bothy. The sofa can be extended to make another double bed, the adjoining Bathroom with shower, basin and wc. In the kitchen there is a gas hob, oven and grill, fridge, washing machine and coffee maker.
Ask Libby about the meat, eggs, fruit and vegetables she can supply from the farm.For your other provisions, the little village of Saline, which has a shop, post office and pub, is only a mile away.
